What is the problem?
  • Need more variations variations of greeting cards.
  • Trying to stand out from the crowd as a competitive market.

What is being asked?
  • To design a set of greeting cards aimed at 16-34 year olds.
  • Think who will be buying the card and who will be receiving it?
  • Will it be celebrating an occasion or just a simple message? 

Specifications
  • Can use a variation of card formats and finishes.
  • Suggested card sizes – 159mm x 159mm, 121mm x 184mm, 137mm x 159mm, 110mm x 210mm but don’t let that restrict you.
  • Add 3mm bleed to all artwork supplied.
  • A range name and logo to be printed on the back page.

Brief re-written
Design greeting cards for several occasions that are part of a set, aimed at 16-34 year olds. Also take in considerations of the design of envelopes and stamps that will work with the set of greeting cards. Include packaging to make the products all relevant to each others purpose. Experiment with processes, stock and finishes  Deliverables must have a hand-crafted aspect. Be aware of aesthetics across the range of products.
